At Diverse Surveyors our mission is to change the way people look at surveying. We are passionate about utilising state of the art equipment along side our technical knowledge to provide innovative and creative solutions for every individual project. We pride ourselves on embracing the newest and most up-to-date technologies in the surveying industry to remain ahead in our field. We are also active and involved members within industry membership groups that allow us to guarantee that we can provide professional services inline with industry standards.
David Ericson
Dave Ericson is the Managing Director of Diverse Surveyors. He completed his Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Surveying in 2007 at RMIT in Melbourne before relocating to Mount Isa in 2010. He holds a Directors position in the Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors and has special interest in integrating different surveying techniques and technologies for his clients to ensure they are offered customised solutions for their projects.
He is also keenly involved in networking with like minded people and collaborating within the community to develop opportunities for local projects. When he is not working in his business he is spending time with family and friends - usually while out on the boat, wake boarding, cycling or playing squash.
Sam Crawford
Sam completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying) Honours 2B at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2013. He currently works as part of the Diverse Surveyor team as a Survey Specialist based down south around the Brunswick Heads area.
Sam holds a current AIMS membership and has a particular interest in laser scanner and modelling. One of the things he enjoys most about the Surveying Industry is having the opportunity to continuously learn and embrace the rapidly advancing technology within the industry and utilising these to present creative solutions to his clients. Outside of work, Sam enjoys relaxing with his family, traveling and fishing.
Bernard Paul
Bernard completed his Bachelor’s degree in Technical Surveying through PNG University of Technology in 2006. He has been living in Mount Isa and working as a part of the Diverse Surveyor’s team for the last 2 years. He has a particular interest in utilising UAV surveying. His favourite part of the job is getting to go out into the field and completing field surveyors in such a diverse collection of locations. Outside of surveying Bernard also has a keen interest in civil and construction industries.
